Abstract:
The manager with a global perspective (who, by definition, is different and pro-globalization) contributes to the success of the firm?s international business. We undertook a factor analysis of the representations of 79 young managers. Results show that managers with a global thinking attach greater importance in their representation of globalization in three domains : namely, business (business and trade), social (intergroup and intragroup relationships) and economic (macroeconomic). These results are moderated by variables measuring their social integration.
