Le développement durable et ses objets encombrants. Le cas pratique de Botanic

Emmanuelle Dontenwill

Revue française de gestion, 2012, vol. N° 226, issue 7, 37-51

Abstract: The integration of sustainable development into firms reveals conflicts of interests between economic, social and environmental issues. These conflicts crystallize on objects that we name ?troublesome objects?. How are they managed by firms ? In light of ?economies of worth?, we examine this question through the case study of Botanic, a gardening distributor which adopted an ambitious sustainable strategy since 2005.
