Revue française de gestion, 2012, vol. N° 226, issue 7, 151-163
Abstract:
The research objective is to analyze how it is possible to intervene in real time at the other end of the world. It combines a literature on organizational improvisation and on spatial mobility, and it proposes a case study of two NGOs during the Haiti emergency. It shows a link between spatial mobility and organizational improvisation. It also shows four organizational means, which allow to develop a capacity of spatial projection in spite of extremely short deadlines.
