Abstract:
From a retrospective analysis of our field based research practices, we show that the research process itself can have an impact on organizations. We identify several effects in participating companies: organizational memory development; changes in representations; co-production of knowledge; encouraging reflexivity. Necessary conditions for these effects to happen have been identified.
