« Les barbares sont-ils à la porte ? ». Une analyse des modèles de capital-investissement en termes de variété de formes de capitalisme

Abstract:
This paper ponders if there is or not a convergence of private equity models. Historical, institutional economical as well as sociological approaches consider that there is an alignment with the pioneer Anglo-Saxon model. On the contrary, the Varieties of Capitalism (VoC) approach supports the views that different private equity systems would continue to hold their own and underlines the importance of the internal consistency. The paper highlights the new implications for investors, chief executive officers and authorities, and suggests many issues for future research.
