Abstract: Since the financial crisis, banks have seen their reputation damaged. This article analyses the consequences of this crisis on the identity of bank workers. It shows that the work identity of some of them is little affected. It also reveals that workers whose identity was damaged implement different patterns or arrangements of remedial identity work. Our article details managerial consequences for the banks.
