Revue française de gestion, 2017, vol. N° 268, issue 7, 61-76
Abstract:
Today, the crowdfunding is revolutionizing the access businesses have to financing, in particular business projects holders. It offers new opportunities but also creates new challenges. One of the major challenges is to reduce information asymmetries between the projects holders and the funders. In this article, we analyze the role of the crowdfunding platforms and the social networks in evaluating the projects. The analysis helps to understand the new business models in the banking and financial industry.
