Abstract:
Three forms of ecosystems are studied in the literature on organized territorial networks: innovation, business and knowledge ecosystems. While links have been established between these three forms, their interactions remain under studied. Using the example of the French competitiveness clusters, we illustrate that these forms are complementary and that French clusters evolved over time through a process of hybridization between the three types of ecosystems with a specific value proposition.
