Abstract:
Acute stress strongly impacts the perceived ability of decision makers to manage a crisis. Our paper allows us to better understand the impact of this acute stress on the decision-maker?s capacities in a crisis situation, and in particular, to identify the main causes that influence his stress level. The theory is based on crisis management. The analysis is based on a quantitative study administered by questionnaires to 122 decision-makers in the risk management field and processed using structural equations model. It identifies the resources that allow the decision-maker to better restore his capabilities in crisis situation.
