Pour quel impact œuvrent les revues académiques ?. Une approche par la théorie des communs

Nathalie Dubost and Michel Kalika

Revue française de gestion, 2019, vol. N° 284, issue 7, 125-147

Abstract: As stakeholders of commons knowledge, academic journals enact rules to produce knowledge which in turns delineates its use and hence their impact. The aim of this paper is threefold: explore the vision that academic journals have about how their knowledge is used, underline the tensions journals are faced with to materialize this vision, and describe the solving answers they bring. After presenting the results of an exploratory survey with 15 chief editors of French journals from the general management category of the Fnege ranking, we develop theoretical and managerial implications, and propose further research.
