Abstract:
Within the context of the Covid-19 healthcare crisis, organizations and individuals have chosen to use crowdfunding at the service of concrete actions aiming at helping impacted targets. Based on the analysis of 25 campaigns launched on KissKissBankBank and Ulule, the research, reported in this article, highlights the specificities and issues associated with the use of reward-based crowdfunding platforms to support actions that bring solidarity within emergency contexts.
