Approches institutionnalistes de l'État Social

François Eymard-Duvernay

Revue française de socio-Economie, 2008, vol. n° 1, issue 1, 89-105

Abstract: This paper is an attempt to reduce the divide between economic and social fields: construction of coordination, i.e. construction of social link, is part of economic action. The ?social? dimension crosses all economic fields, from money to goods, and work. A consequence is an extensive conception of social State: its action is not only legitimate in a specialized space ? social policies ?, but also in economic field, markets and firms. Furthermore, social State has to bind economics and politics by enforcing citizenship of economic actors.
