Abstract:
The study of regulatory process enacted by Corporate Social Responsibility must go through a definition of what being « socially responsible » means. This understanding is necessary to analyze the new direction of capitalism proposed by CSR. This question of what is a ?socially responsible? quality is highlighted through an ethnographic fieldwork : Socially responsible investments (SRI) and thanks to the economy of convention French school. Furthermore, we try to complete that approach thanks to the study of the Socially Responsible Investments market embeddedness.
