Les usages du concept de modèle dans la construction sociale du « modèle danois »

Frédéric Rey

Revue française de socio-Economie, 2011, vol. n° 7, issue 1, 169-189

Abstract: This article shows how the emergence of the national Danish ?model?, on the international scene, is the product of a complex socio-political construction, implying many actors belonging to various recognition areas. Those influent actors take an active part in the diffusion of the belief that the model exists, by their repetitive and public use of the model concept. Thus, they contribute by the performativity of their speeches to confirm and maintain its reality. For all that, behind the apparently consensual use of the term ?model?, actors use it in different meanings and with different intentions.
