Marie Trespeuch

Revue française de socio-Economie, 2011, vol. n° 8, issue 2, 39-58

Abstract: This article aims to analyze the impact of technological innovation on the organization of the French gambling?s market, previously based on monopolies, through the example of betting. At the turn of the 2000?s, the proliferation of online bookmakers offering products more attractive to french internet users, requires La Française des Jeux to reassess the boundaries of its business, to find other organizational synergies and to synchronize the temporality of its physical network on the temporality specific to markets online.
