Abstract:
Exhibiting the characteristics of singular goods, fair trade products, organic products and community-supported agriculture represent an original field to deal with consumers? participation in judgement devices. Several organisations develop ?participatory guarantee systems? in order to involve the stakeholders in assessment and guarantee process. Thus they contribute to a movement of resistance to what is perceived as a risk of not being considered any longer as a singular good or service, associated with third-party certification.
