Les « petits boulots » dans l’Espagne de la récession
Pierre Blavier
Revue française de socio-Economie, 2016, vol. n° 17, issue 2, 103-122
Abstract:
This article deals with the consequences of the increase of unemployment since 2008 in Spain on the ?small jobs?. These latter do no correspond to the ?typical employment? (illimited contracts, civil-servant, self employment). The article advocates that they endure notable modifications with the recession, and it rests on ethnographical fieldwork in the region of Valencia. This permits to describe various characteristics of these works: rooting in personal lives, weak salaries, and translation effects due among others to the increasing economic competition with the immigrants.
