Abstract: The Due Diligence Act is a legal instrument for the responsibility of private economic powers throughout their value chain and for the protection of victims of the negative impact of the activities of these private economic powers. It is part of the philosophy of public economic order taking into account other imperatives of general interest that the proper functioning of the market.
