L’esprit des lois à l’époque globale

Alain Supiot

Revue internationale de droit économique, 2023, vol. t.XXXVII, issue 3, 5-22

Abstract: The necessary critique of globalisation should not lead us to give in to the identity-based passions, but rather to work towards a new international order based on mutual learning and solidarity between peoples, so that together they can meet the ecological, social and technological challenges of the present day. This would be the path of a true ?mondialisation?, which recognizes the sovereignty of limits, as well as the intergenerational debt of life, and breaks with the overhanging universalism that is sure to embody reason, to cultivate a crucible of universalism, attentive to the diversity of languages, histories and cultures.
