Reflets et perspectives de la vie économique, 2012, vol. LI, issue 1, 67-76
Abstract:
This paper examines industrial policy at the European level and the differences between the approaches of public support to business of the European Union?s member states. It draws on recent developments in the theoretical and empirical literature on market failures and subsidies. We try to provide an enhanced understanding of successful and unsuccessful industrial policies based on the experience of European countries.
