Abstract:
The emergence and spread of the notion of biodiversity since the mid 1980s attest the creation of a new field of action and knowledge at the interface between science and politics, aiming at the appropriation and management of nature. The purpose of this paper is to assess in this respect thirty years of international policies, which are crucial to North-South relationship.
