Abstract:
This article analyzes business owners? and trade unions? views, positions, storytelling and political orientation regarding the bill on profit sharing which was submitted to a vote by the General Confederation of Labor in 2010. Analyzing the controversy over the introduction of this bill has allowed us to find evidence of the struggle for surplus, which is a key element in the field of Development studies. The way social groups and the government understand and challenge the notion of development in contemporary Argentina is revealed thanks to the study of these corporatist arguments and positions.
