Abstract:
The first chapter of this paper begins with a historical introspection on societal gaps and a comparison with modern times. This aims to emphasize the failure of pure either left or wing oriented policies. In the next chapter we can find a statistical based overview of disparities and social spending in America on one side and the middle of the BRICS group of countries on the other (Russia, India and China). This analysis is aimed at showing the reasons for inequality in these countries. In the final chapter the focus is providing a viable solution to the problems listed in the previous chapter by promoting competition, targeted government spending and tax reform through a new form of radical centrist politics needed to tackle inequality without hurting economic growth
