Abstract: The international financial crisis has inevitably felt in the the Romanian economy influences transmitted through the various paths. The connection with the international economic flows has generated negative implications both in the economy and in various regions, as evidenced by analysis of key indicators: labor resources, civil active population, the activity rate of unemployment labor resources, etc.. The impact of economic crisis on the labor market in Romania has resulted in the job losses or temporary unemployment as a result technical or permanently, the termination of the contract of employment. The research aims to identify the adverse effects in the labor market at the level of the South West Oltenia.
