Abstract: Globalization is a term used to describe how countries, people and businesses around the world are increasingly interconnected, as forces such as technology, transport, the media and global finances make it easier for commodities, services, ideas and people to pass through borders, especially traditional borders. We have found that the success of globalization is closely linked to an adequate policy mix with three main objectives: to achieve and maintain macroeconomic stability; promoting commercial opening and capital flows; and limiting government intervention in truly insufficient areas of the market and providing the necessary social and economic infrastructure.
