Abstract: In the article, a study will be carried out on the amounts accessed through Community funds. The European Union's strategy for 2014-2020 set out a number of objectives (smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, maximizing the impact of funding and other objectives). The paper will also present the regional allocation criteria, taking into account the less developed regions for which the allocation funds will be larger. Also, the policy adopted for the period 2021-2027 regarding the allocation funds and the objectives pursued to be achieved by allocating these funds will be analyzed.
