Abstract: The current COVID-19 Pandemic had a significant impact on the economies, especially the labor markets of the world. Hundreds of millions of workers around the world have felt the negative consequences of the pandemic. The main problem related to the impact of the pandemic on employment was the intensification of unemployment and the worsening of working conditions. The impact of the pandemic on employment in the Republic of Moldova, as well as the quality of intervention of public authorities in the Republic of Moldova to overcome the challenges related to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Republic of Moldova is the object of research of this article.
