Abstract: The paper introduces some challenges for a young entrepreneur and manager, who proved to be competent, effective and efficient, who managed, using special approaches and measures for one’s enterprise, to maintain the functioning state in a profitable regime, to ensure the resilience of one’s businesses and to benefit from all the legislative facilities granted by the regulation’s incident to the pandemic periods. These facilities came to support both companies as employers and employees who were actually the most affected by the restrictive measures during the analysed period, respectively 2019 – 2020. The issue standing at the basis of the research presented refers to the manner in which the pandemic caused by Covid-19 influenced or not the company Mira Larix SRL, during the years of study. The research approach proposed comes as a continuation of previous publications on the topic of the impact of the pandemic at the level of several types of entities, continuing with the analysis of the context, trends and influences on types of companies worldwide, from the country and from the Caras-Severin county as well as on the chosen SME. The case study was chosen as a research tool, especially because the qualitative research method focused on realities and lived experiences, on certain categories of populations from a certain field of study, helped in getting a real and clear knowledge of the studied subject, analysing the fulfilment of the research main objective - the impact of the pandemic on the company’s performance and the presentation of the uniqueness of the approaches, facts, proposals and recommendations implicitly based on the thematically directed interview and discussions with the manager of the analysed company. Being aware that the approach used for research can to be supplemented and improved, a proposal would be to continue it on other types of economic entities, institutions and other organizations, especially on those operating in Caraș-Severin County, in order learn as much as possible of different managerial practices and try to contribute to the enrichment of the scientific content and the didactic materials in the domain.
