Abstract: Tourist destinations as part of the tourist system in the management procedures of the tourist economy viewed as the development of the economy should be viewed through the tourist system, which represents a group of connected, mutually dependent and interactive elements that together form an individual functional structure. As such, tourism is in fact only one of the subsystems within the broader economic and economic system. The relationship between tourism as a system and a higher social system is an interrelationship in which tourism is both a consequence and a stimulus to the development of the overall social system. The essence of each system, and thus of tourism, is determined by the nature and method of connection between its main elements, that is, by the method of connection and exchange of information between them. Namely, the structure of the system (its constituent parts) indicates the connections that are established between the elements of the tourism system and the higher system. These connections are such that changing any component of the system will affect other components.
