Abstract:
The European Union budget for 2025 will play a decisive role in defending European values, in implementing the objectives and policies of the European Union. The European Union budget for 2025 will continue to benefit from the budgetary consolidation provided for under the European Union Recovery Instrument (NextGenerationEU), the implementation of which will continue until the end of 2026. The European Union budget for 2025 is estimated to include commitments of over €188 billion and will represent approximately 1.03% of the EU GDP forecast for 2025, approximately €18.35 trillion (€18,350 billion).
