Civil society theory: Myth or Reality? (problem statement)

N. V. Asonov ()

Outlines of global transformations: politics, economics, law, 2014, vol. 7, issue 4

Abstract: The article disputes scientificity of the civil society theory. It is suggested to consider the theory as an ideological myth. As what is now considered as a civil society is characterized in political science as a «co-operation with the authorities» imitating self-administration under its wing and by its rules.
