The state arbitrage in the period of economic reforms and counter-reforms in the sixties

Abstract: The author analyses the problems in the state-planned economy and the measures taken by the state arbitrage to cushion the consequences of them. The article is based on archival materials. The author places special emphasis on the issues of the improvement of the regulatory system and specification of the authorities of the state arbitrage. In the article the author discussed the practice of arbitrage for settlement of economic disputes between enterprises. The author places special emphasis on the cooperation between the state arbitrage and the Party authorities. Author comes to the conclusion that the arbitrage has been transforming more into an administrative body than into judiciary one.
