Abstract:
The methodology of the proposed study is based on the idea of economic space. The author considers the trends and contradictions of urban development in terms of the ideas of spatial economics, notions of the territorial organization’s post-industrial development and capital movement in the economic space. He reveals the possibilities and limitations of urban space in terms of deindustrialization; formulates proposals for the selection of the optimal control actions to the development of city.
