Abstract:
Report on Tobacco Taxation in the United Kingdom Introduction Taxation levels The United Kingdom has among the highest levels of tobacco tax in the world1. Table 1 shows the current duty rates for tobacco products while Table 2 presents taxation levels. The latter is based on a typical pack of each product and on the most popular price category for cigarettes.
