Abstract: Shared Mobility Policy Playbook - Microtransit | 1Microtransit is a privately or publicly operated, technology-enabled transport service that typically uses multi-passenger/pooled shuttles or vans to provide on-demand or fixed-schedule services with either dynamic or fixed routing (Cohen & Shaheen, 2016; SAE International, 2018. This tool kit identifies potential use cases for microtransit and provides case studies of pilot programs, public-private partnerships, and permit programs for private operators.
