Abstract: With its two improtant elements (industrial property, royalities and additional rights), intellectual propriety represents a benchmark of the growth of the social and cultural economy of a nation. Romania, as a future member of the European Union, should have laws, practices and procedures to protect both domestic investitors and domestic legal entities as well as any foreign company or foreign investitor who wants to invest in Romanian economy.
