Abstract: The paper presents the advantages that the Romanian enterprises can gain on the European Market by implementing the quality management systems. At the same time there is pointed aut the information regarding the National Standardization Body and it's degree of integration in similar European structures, and also a list with the laws that adopted the European directives on product conformity, including the references to the harmonized standards.
