Abstract:
This paper starts a series of papers presenting the most relevant outputs of a research carried out during 2004-2006 period within the Program CALIST (PNCDI, Subprogram S4, Contract no. 5441/10.11.2004), having as theme "Methodology of firm management and managerial team quality's assessment ". The firm management's quality depends on managers' quality, management activity's quality, and managerial team's quality. Each of these decisive factors influencing the firm management's quality is, in its turn, brought about by other factors which can be expressed in terms of criteria and subcriteria. In this first paper of the series, we are tackling the first two criteria of assessment, that is professional grounding, and professional and managerial experience. Each criterion is then detailed in specific subcriteria.
