Abstract: In this eminently empirical paper, of an exploratory and descriptive nature, a package of indicators is proposed by which to measure the performance of an agricultural co-operative, based on which we try to find out the degree of importance accorded or which should be accorded to these indicators, in both absolute and relative terms, among a sample of sixteen agricultural co-operatives of Huelva province, and another sixteen from Jaén province (thirty two in all). This investigation is carried out through a questionnaire completed by the managing directors of the aforesaid co-operatives.
