Abstract: Using a scoping review and semi-structured interviews, this report focuses on the mechanisms deployed by health care and population services staff when using new technologies and describes the factors and constraints that support the appropriation of technological innovations. Thus, we present the appropriation trajectory as a three-stage process in which changes emerge through the trial and error of caregivers, patients and innovators. À partir d’une revue de portée et des entretiens semi-structurés, ce rapport s’intéresse aux mécanismes déployés par le personnel de soins et services aux populations lorsqu’il utilise des nouvelles technologiques et décrit les facteurs et les contraintes pour soutenir l’appropriation des innovations technologiques. Ainsi, nous présentons la trajectoire d’appropriation comme un processus à trois étapes dans lequel des changements émergent au travers des essais et des erreurs du personnel soignant, des patients et des innovateurs.
