Abstract: This essay presents an analysis on spatial segregation in Ciudad Juarez. Based in an econometric model it is explored a previous study that review the urban spatial segregation in this Mexican northern border city. For the analysis it was used the GeoDa software which has been developed by the GeoDa Center for Geospatial Analysis and Computation of the University State of Arizona, in the United States. This software offers the possibility to use global and local indicators that allows concluding the existence of a spatial patron and its classification. This essay confirms the spatial segregation in Ciudad Juarez and gives a better based methodology for previous and forthcoming studies on this field.
