Abstract: The present study is a descriptive, exploratory approach, which aims to carry out a short conceptual analysis for the main predictors that describe the criminal behavior of the sociopathic type. Among them, in addition to the favorable environment, the authors describe the presence of the weapon in the criminal's social environment, considered one of the most important predictors of the development of sociopathic behavior. Added to this is the existence of defense mechanisms specific to the sociopathic personality.
