Abstract: Este documento establece la relación entre cultura y desarrollo en funciónde una sostenibilidad equitativa y socialmente responsable, en la búsquedade criterios e instrumentos para el incremento de la calidad de vida desdeel sector cultural. Para ese efecto, en una primera parte relaciona los términosbuscando la resemantización de los mismos. En la segunda parte, presentalos rasgos más característicos de las antinomias y sinsentidos de la cultura yel desarrollo. En la tercera parte, propone avanzar en una metodologíagenérica la reconstrucción estratégica del sector cultural. Y, por último, enla cuarta parte, relaciona la cultura y el desarrollo desde una perspectivaintegradora de lo local y lo global desde el sector cultural._________ABSTRACT:This paper establishes the relation between culture and developmentdepending on an equitable and socially responsible sustainability, in thesearch of criteria and instruments for the increase of the quality of lifefrom the cultural sector. For this effect, in the first part it is related with theterms looking for the resemantization of the same ones. In the second part itpresents the most typical features of the antinomies and meaninglessaspects of culture and development. In the third part it proposes to advancein a generic methodology of the strategic reconstruction of the culturalsector. And, finally, in the fourth part it relates the culture and the developmentfrom a perspective of integration of the local and the global from thecultural sector.
