El alcohol carburante en Colombia: potencialidades y limitaciones en el contexto internacional

Abstract: El artículo examina la importancia de la producción de alcohol carburante para Colombia,destacando las posibilidades que el líquido tendría tanto en el mercado nacional como en elinternacional. Se resalta, en el mismo, la importancia que a través del tiempo adquirió elmencionado combustible como una fuente de energía que combinado con la gasolina puedecontribuir a reducir las presiones que el país tiene en materia de petróleo. También sedestaca la forma en que el líquido puede ayudar a la conservación del medio ambiente,sobre todo en los últimos tiempos, dados los fenómenos naturales que se han presentadodebido al calentamiento del planeta, en parte, explicado, por la utilización de combustiblesfósiles._________ABSTRACT:The article examines the importance of the alcohol production fuel for Colombia, emphasizingthe possibilities that the liquid would have so much in the national market as in theinternational. It is emphasized, in the same one, the importance that through the time acquiredthe combustible mentioned one like a power plant that combined with the gasoline cancontribute to reduce the pressures that the country has in the matter of petroleum. Also theform in that stands out the liquid can help the conservation of the enviroment, mainly lately,given the natural phenomena that have appeared due to the heating of the planet, partly,explained, by the fossil fuel use.
