Las políticas educativas en América Latina: un análisis de la educación superior desde la visión de la banca multilateral

Abstract: Este documento analiza las características centrales de las políticas educativasimplementadas en América Latina para el caso de la educación superior pública apartir de la vigencia del modelo de apertura económica, y las cuales tienen comofundamento la visión y recomendaciones de la banca multilateral, Banco Mundial,Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo - BID y Fondo Monetario Internacional -FMI. Los aspectos centrales estudiados en el artículo hacen referencia a las políticaspúblicas, en el contexto de la globalización económica, el concepto de educación delos organismos multilaterales de crédito, el financiamiento de la educación comoeje central de la política, las implicaciones de las políticas educativas sugeridas porlas instituciones resenadas y, por último, se elaboran algunas conclusiones a partirde lo observado en el texto.___________ABSTRACT:This document analyzes the central characteristics of the implemented educativepolicies in Latin America for the case of the public education superior from the useof the model of economic opening, and which have like foundation the vision andrecommendations of the multilateral bank, World Bank, Inter-American DevelopmentBank - I.A.D.B. and International Monetary Fund - the IMF. The studied centralaspects in the article make reference to, the public policies in the context of theeconomic globalización, the concept of education of the multilateral organisms ofcredit, the financing of the education like central axis of the policy, the implicationsof the educative policies suggested by the reviewed institutions and, finally, someconclusions from the observed thing in the text are elaborated.
