The dynamics of the mobile internet in Colombia, the regulation and the quality of service

Abstract: The Information and Communication Technologies are essential at present for the development of countries and the quality of life of people, every time its use becomes widespread as well as the familiarization with them. The main purpose of this document is to determine the dynamics of mobile internet services in Colombia, as a fundamental part of ICT, its penetration, quality and the cost of the service with respect to the total income of family groups. Also, we aim to analyze the figures of use, coverage and quality of the mobile internet; to study, from the regulatory point of view, the resolutions of the Commission of Regulation of Communications and its applicability, determining which are the best practices in the country to search of the continuous improvement in the provision, quality, access, technology and tariffs for the consumer.
