Abstract: Through this essay the intention is to inquire and to argue, why the foreign administrative theories should not be implemented in an uncritical way in the organization (without consider the cultural heterogeneity in Colombia and how it could affect workers). The essay also indicates, how through the research could be developed an own administrative identity. The writing refers to Medellin and Bogota workers (Colombia) as well as United States' workers, specially the east and west of that country. A review of different texts was conducted to sustain this writing, thus the essay concludes that there are need to boost the research in the Colombian administrative field, of course, without tend exclusively to follow particular interests and considering different human characteristics of workers, for example, their culture. In this way generate advantages for both the administrative field and society.
