Abstract:
This study examines the best practices for retaining generation Z employees in the telecommunications sector in Colombia. Through a literature review and in-depth interviews with companies in the sector, key strategies are identified to attract and retain centennials, who exhibit different work characteristics and motivations compared to previous generations. Among the most valued practices by Generation Z are workplace flexibility, a positive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and wellness programs. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of fostering an inclusive work environment that encourages innovation, aligning with the values and expectations of these young professionals. This research contributes to a better understanding of how companies can adapt their strategies to retain this new workforce and reduce turnover rates.
