Abstract:
The objective of this document is to present an instrument with the minimum elements necessary to publish the results of a systematic literature review (SLR). To this end, first, the instruments used in other disciplines and the editorial guidelines for publishing in specialized management journals were consulted. Subsequently, a proposed checklist was developed and validated through expert consensus using the Delphi method. The checklist for reporting systematic literature reviews in management (SyReMa: Systematic Reviews in Management) contains 32 items divided into sections on general aspects, introduction, methodology, synthesis of results, discussion, and conclusions. Each item must be evaluated by indicating whether it is present or not, whether it is clear or requires further precision from the authors, or whether it does not apply given the characteristics of the topic. In addition, it is recommended to indicate the page on which the item appears to allow for a quick verification. The SyReMa checklist is a tool that seeks to improve the transparency of the results and contributions of SLRs.
