Abstract:
This paper summarizes a report with the same title prepared for the Bogota’s Department of the Treasury. The report examines the evolution of the location of economic activity in Bogota and Cundinamarca since 1990, especially as regards industry, and looks into the likely effects of local taxation and local public expenditure on industrial location choice between the two jurisdictions.
